Yeah, that makes alot of sense now that I think about it. . . . But Carson couldn't have died of an illness because it says so in Falcondance that Anhamirak's magic kept them from the hukan plagues. In Hawksong when Danica was going to the Serpiente Palace it mentions a page-in-training summoning Eleanor so maybe Carson was a page in training like te other boy. Or maybe being a younger son the guard didn't keep as close an eye on him as they shold have and he snuck out to watch a training or something like that which boys are prone to do sometimes.
