Nikolas carved his name into Sarah's arm in SM, but now that Sarah's a vampire what happens to her scars? Do they stay? And if they do, can she cut them off? I know her skin will immediatly heal, but the scars with it or will they be gone forever? And if she could, does she want to?

hmmm very interesting questions.

She could most likely hide it. In ITFON Jager says Risika could hide the scar Aubrey gave her...so I'm guessing Sarah could do the same.

As to cutting them off the skin wouldn't heal with the scars still there.

As to wanting to: i have no idea...it would seem it would be protection against other vampires hearing about her change and wanting to kill her while she's still a fledgling....

just my thoughts i have no real idea

From what I understand, she can keep them or get rid of them, it all kind of depends on what she wants to do.

See, the only blades that can really scar vampires are Vida blades, and Sarah A) wasn't marked with a Vida blade and B) wasn't a vampire at the time anyway.

The reason that Risika would have had to hide her scar with an illusion is that that particular scar was made with a Vida blade - and Sarah wouldn't be able to hide it yet anyway. She's not strong enough to cast illusions.

Anywho, in... I think it's Demon, but it may be Forests, someone says that when Aubrey gets tired of his tattos, he'll probably just cut them off with a normal knife, so he would heal without any trace of them. I guess I'm just assuming that Sarah would be able to do the same thing to get rid of her scars if nothing else.... I could be wrong though. If I am, someone please tell me?

That's in Forest where it says the Aubrey could cut off his tattoos using a normal knife, but Sarah's were put inbefore she was a vampire so I'm not sure if they would heal or not

True enough, but you could also argue that not enough time had gone by for them to actually scar. They were still healing wounds at this point, so upon her transition to vampire it is perfectly possible that they simply healed over without a trace.

Any previous scars I can't speak for.... Confused

I suppose you have a point, but I'd think since they were there before they wouldn't go away

Hm... So if Vampire Sarah cut off the skin containing her scars with a knife, would the skin heal according to the way it was in the last moments of her life as a human, or would the skin heal to its full potential healthiness as a Vampire? Scars do dissappear in time anyways.... Although with a Vampire who isn't growing anymore, this may not apply. Although for some reason their skin somehow still grows back, despite the fact that their cells are no longer alive... but would it grow over their scars, too? That's a really good question.
